This video demonstrates the Kurzweil Reading Machine that was brought about by the National Federation of the Blind. It’s a hand held reader or also known as ‘the camera that talks’. It takes a picture of a document for the blind person and then reads back to them what it sees or what the document says. This would be great for someone with a visual disability of any level.
